Will the carpet slip or slide on the surface where they are being used?

The floor mats do have an anti-skid bottom and should not slide on the floor.

Are the floor mats slippery when wet with water or melted snow?

All of the floor mats have an anti-slip surface. Like all decorative floor mats, caution must be used when if there is water or melted snow however they will not be slippery when wet.

Are they compatible with heated floors?

Yes, the Hogar Studio decorative floor mats can be applied over heated floors.

Are your Hogar mats suitable for the bathroom?

Yes they are. They do have a anti-slip surface.

Can Hogar carpet be used outside?

Hogar mats are intended for both indoor and outdoor use. Covered patios or screened-in porches are preferable in outdoor settings to ensure that your carpet lasts a long time. Note that we do not recommend our carpets to be used near pools.

Can Hogar carpet puncture or tear?

While Hogar carpet is durable, it is not indestructible. Do not drag heavy furniture across it and be careful of stiletto heels or other sharp objects. Always use felt pads under table and chair legs.

Can Hogar carpets be used on hardwood or tile floors?

Yes, Hogar carpets is ideal for most flat surfaces. When used on tile with wide grout, please be aware that furniture legs or high heel shoes may puncture the carpet. Use caution! We do not recommend use on carpet, gravel, or any other uneven surface.

Can I place hot pots directly on a placemats or runner?

We do not advise placing any hot pots, cookware or heated objects on top of the Hogar placemats. This may cause damage to the placemat or runner.

Can I use floor mats on floors with radiant heating systems?

Yes. Hogar mats can withstand up to 85°F/30°C from radiant heating systems.

Do Högar carpets leave marks when weighed down?

No, they do not leave any marks when weighed down by heavy furniture however caution is recommended if placing or moving heavy furniture, we suggest using felt pads under the furniture.

How thick are the Högar Mats ?

All of our decorative floor mats are 2mm thick.

How to clean Högar carpet?

Dust or mop the floor to ensure all loose dirt and/or grit is removed. Wipe down with a damp cloth. For stubborn jobs try diluted hand soap and rinse thoroughly after washing. Make sure both the floor mat and the floor are dry before placing the mat on the floor. Do not use dish soap, harsh chemicals or abrasives, which will wear off the finish and colors of the vinyl. Do not use scrub brushes, or vacuums directly on the surface.

How to return the Högar Mat?

You may return the Högar floor mat within 30 days of delivery. Is there a warranty?

What are Högar carpets made of?

Made of high quality vinyl that are non-slip, fire-retardant and sound proofing. They will soon become a must-have in every room of the house, from the playroom to the bedroom, to the kitchen!
